CONVENTION OF STATES RESOLUTION TO BE HEARD BY PENNSYLVANIA SENATE STATE GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE ON OCTOBER 17 – CAPITOL RALLY TO FOLLOW HEARING
The time is NOW for the people to reclaim their power and put sanity back inside the ‘beltway’.
HARRISBURG., Oct. 8, 2018 – The Pennsylvania Senate State Government Committee will hold a public hearing on the Convention of States Article V resolution, SR 133, on October 17th at 9:00 a.m. in Hearing Room 1, North Office Building. Immediately following the committee hearing, the Convention of States Pennsylvania Team will sponsor a rally at the Capitol with Mark Meckler, President and co-founder, the Convention of States Project, along with members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. COS supporters are encouraged to attend both the critical committee hearing and the rally.
Wednesday, Oct 17th, Schedule:
• 9:00 a.m. – Attend Committee Hearing on COS Resolution, SR 133, in Hearing Room 1, North Office Building, (seating is limited);
• 12:00 p.m. – Capitol Rally with Mark Meckler and PA General Assembly members to immediately follow Senate hearing.
• 1:00 p.m. – Citizens deliver educational materials to legislators’ offices.
The Convention of States resolution calls for fiscal restraint, limits on the size, scope and jurisdiction of the federal government, and term limits on federal officials, including federal judges and bureaucrats.
