Paul Revere made his famous ride the night of April 18th 1775 warning the Colonial Militia that the British forces were approaching. Paul Revere was a silversmith, early industrialist, but more importantly at that time Paul Revere was an American patriot, not willing to shirk his duty or pass it along to the next fellow, but was willing to go the extra mile in warning his friends and his neighbors of impending danger, and according to history before his night ride was over, there were about forty other riders which came to help. Could it be that these other forty riders were inspired by the loyalty and courage of Paul Revere and felt that there was power in numbers, and if they all but their “shoulders to the wheel” victory would be theirs?
We Americans no longer have to concern ourselves about the British troops, and we will probably not be seeing anyone on horseback riding through our neighbors warning of impending danger, but as we are going about our daily lives as loyal Americans, there are dangers lurking. But we can be assured that there are Paul Reveres among us, not riding horses, but using the written word, also using the airways, and the high speed internet. But what concerns me is this; Is America Listening?
The enemy that America is now facing is cunning, it lurks in the dark and its weapon is the fiercest of all weapons, its called “deceit and lies” and it’s favored victims are the youth, but not only the youth, all Americans are targeted and it’s sights are set toward the destruction of all people.
Those that are giving warning are finding that the enemy is using the very Constitution of The United States as their favored weapon. They creep around under the guise of “Political Correctness”. When someone tries to expose their creepy ways, they run to the nearest Federal Judge, claiming that their rights have been violated, and by the constitution they have been victimized by those on the opposite side of their deceit and lies, and with the help of very liberal judges, they seek to quite those in opposition.
In its history America has weathered many storms, from wars to natural disasters, and now we are facing a long protracted war against radical Muslims with their intent on the demise of all the Christian faith, replacing it with their sharia law which is mortifying to even think such a thing, but, Americans are also facing another enemy, this enemy is striking an arrow at the very core of society as we know it now, this enemy is the moral meltdown of the very fabric of the family.
In 1996 the Defense o Marriage Act, (DOMA) was passed by the Supreme Court and signed into law under President Bill Clinton, but this law has now power over the states regarding their own interpretation of marriage, and due to this, many states have legalized the marriage between people of the same sex, which will in due time unravel all the God given rights that America has enjoyed, and subsequently will also weaken the very foundation of the family, which has been the bedrock of all civilized societies throughout all ages.
The LGBT community in their attempt to sliver their immoral behavior into the society as a whole have successfully used the constitution to force the Christian churches to perform marriage ceremonies which are against the Christian doctrine in many churches.
In Ocean Grove, New Jersey, Jan. 13, 2012, a New Jersey Administrative judge by the name of Soloman A. Metzger ruled against a Christian retreat house that refused to allow a same-sex civil union ceremony to be conducted on its premises, ruling that the constitution allows (some intrusion into religious freedom to balance other important societal goals). The Judge went on to say that” the church doctrine was irrelevant”.
Mark D. Tooley, president of The Institute For Religion and Democracy said, “ Its sad and potentially dangerous that New Jersey law is attempting to compel a religious organization to hold a same-sex ritual on their own property”.
As of now there are 17 states that recognize same –sex marriages, plus the District of Columbia, but 2014 is set to be bombarded by as many as nine states seeking the legalization of said marriages. These are, Oregon, Michigan, Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, Nevada, Utah, Pennsylvania, Indiana,
Oregon’s constitution bans same-sex marriages, but gay rights advocates have submitted paperwork for a referendum in November 2014.
In 2004, Michigan voters passed a constitutional ban on gay marriage, but by November 2012 56 percent of the states residents said they supported gay marriage, as of now the gay rights advocates are working to put the issue to voters in a state referendum.
In Arizona, activist are collecting signatures to put gay marriage on the ballot in 2014, with the intent of overturning the 2008 constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages.
Colorado, the gay rights advocates are also eager to overturn the 2006 constitutional ban. The poles found in 2012 53 percent of Coloradans were in favor of overturning the 2006 decision.
On December 19th, the group FreedomOhio announced it had gathered enough signatures to put on the ballot in a November 2014 a measure to repeal Ohio’s constitutional ban on same-sex marriages.
In February 2013, a poll was conducted by a Nevada Retail Association found that 54 percent of their residents were in support of removing the Protection of Marriage provision in its constitution.
On December 20th Utah witness their first Gay marriage. Chris Serrano and Clinton Webb were married in the Salt lake County clerks Office. But the battle in Utah is far from over, In 2004 the Utah voted by a margin of 2-to-1 in favor of traditional marriage between a man and a woman.
In Pennsylvania a poll was conducted by Franklin & Marshall College, it found hat 52 percent favored gay marriage.
Governor Mile Spence (R) of Indiana has called for a vote by the state legislature to pass a bill that makes same-sex marriage unconstitutional, and then the bill would be voted on in the 2014 election by the voters.
The constitution of The United states of America was intended to be the safe-guard in which The citizens could depend on to protect their family’s and their religion from harmful and dangerous influences that would weaken the fabric of this great institutions which has served society well for the existence of man and woman on the face of the earth.
But we now see a tidal wave of rebellion sweeping the earth, which has the intent on making a mockery of the very and most precious thing that God has given his people, (a way of bring forth children) through the institute of marriage between one man and one woman.
And yes, everyone that has breath should shout it from the house tops, and from the pulpit, and at the kitchen table that the future of society is at risk, and may someday no longer be recognizable, unless we can turn the tide toward the
