After last night’s fiasco was over, Alcee Hastings D-Fla’s 23rd District was at the podium and as the chairman of the rules committee he made the following statement; “Rules, we ain’t got no rules around here, we make up the rules as we go along.”

This man used to be a Federal Judge (appointed by Bill Clinton) and was convicted of bribery and corruption and removed from the Federal Bench (a lifetime appointment) but yet was allowed to run for congress.

Nancy Pelosi was gushing last night about how 32 million people will now be able to have affordable health insurance, and at the same time we will reduce the deficit by $1.3 Trillion dollars.

Does that 32 million figure cover all the illegals in this country that you don’t seem to have the time or the inclination to do anything about?

I would like to know how you intend to accomplish that when a lot of Doctors have already said they are going to leave the practice, and add to that the fact that fewer and fewer young men and women are entering the medical profession, oh and let’s not overlook the fact that you idiots are double counting the money in the CBO’s figures.

You can’t spend money twice you idiots.

In point of fact we will increase the deficit by $2.4 Trillion dollars, and to try to pay for all of this pie in the sky there will be $500 Billion dollars worth of cuts in Medi-Care, along with substantial tax increases and reductions in Medic-Aid (read that rationing) there is a whole lot more we could go into but it would take up too much space and make steam shoot out of your eyes, ears, nose, and throat.

The part of this thing that steams the hell out of me and I am sure a lot of other people, is the fact that the Democrats screwed around with this crap for a year and at the last minute they still had to make a bunch of backroom deals and bribe the hell out of the last few holdouts, who never intended to vote against this monstrosity but were holding out for whatever kind of sweetheart deals they could get from Obama & Company.

Nice going Landrieu, Nelson, and Stupak et al.

The ‘Peace De Resistance’; the IRS is going to oversee the insurance program, I believe the figure I heard was 15000 new employees to handle the work load.

They will be empowered to oversee what kind of health care coverage you have and you will be required to buy health insurance or be fined if you don’t.

In a previous column last summer, I wrote about the Infernal Revenue Service swooping down on the Mustang Ranch (a world famous brothel here in

Nevada). It was owned by a man named Joe Conforte.

As required by law when they take a business for back taxes, they are required by law to run the business and try to make a profit in order to satisfy the tax lien.

Very shortly thereafter, the business went belly up and had to close.

Now if these clowns can’t even run a Bar and a Bordello and show a profit, why in hell should we feel confident to any degree that they can run 1/6 th of the national economy and save any money in the process?
